The One Where I Went to Friends Fest

Last week I got the chance to go on one of my favourite TV sets of all time. Yes that's right, I went to Friends Fest.

With it only being in London last year I never got chance to go along, so when it was announced that Friends Fest was going on the road my mum got us tickets straight away!

I'm not going to lie, I really wasn't sure what to expect, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Overall, the event was only on a small scale but I think that's what made it so good. Everything was close together so you didn't have to walk for ages in the mud (yes it's outside) and no matter where abouts you were on the site you could always see the big screen which played some of the most loved Friends scenes.

Throughout the day we made our way around, dressing up like we were at the Lincoln High Class of 1988 prom to following in the drunken footsteps on Rachel and Ross to that little chapel in Vegas.

We got chance to recreate those oh so famous titles alongside finally getting to try Moist Maker Sandwich, which I did indeed manage to finish. Not only that, we had our photos taken in Central Perk and went on to pick up a coffee while watching a Phoebe Buffet tribute and sang along, obviously out of key to hits such as Smelly Cat.

The only part I would say I was a little bit disappointed at was when you get to visit both Monica and Rachel's and Chandler and Joey's apartments. When you buy your ticket you can book a 30 minute time slot to see these recreated sets. As there are quite a lot of people both in your group and in the one behind you, we felt like this experience was quite rushed. I managed to get a photo everywhere that I wanted to, but I also felt like I had to run around for half an hour in order to do so. Despite this, they have replicated the apartments so perfectly it's hard to find a fault!

Apart from that, I had a truly amazing day and can't recommend it enough. The tour continues but unfortunately unless you already have tickets it might be quite hard to get your hands on some as the official website is currently sold out!

If you are going make sure you have spending money as it's guaranteed you'll want to pick something up at the shop. My Central Perk hoodie is my new favourite thing, but I'm not quite sure it'll make my next outfit post...

Ibiza Rocks!

I'm not going to lie, when the girls first asked me if I wanted to go to Ibiza with them this year I said no, when they told me Bastille were playing I found myself £500 down and booking a week off work.

In the run up to this holiday I was forever telling people I'd only be going the once with no intention of coming back. But when our week came to an end I was very reluctant to get on the plane home.

T Shirt - Zara // Trousers - The Saddleworth Boutique // Trainers - Adidas

From planning all my evening outfits and hammering them out on Instagram (apologies) to making friends with the man at the kebab shop, I can honestly say I've had one of the best weeks of my life.

Co-ord Top and Skirt - Missguided // Trainers - As Before

And let's not forgot about the whole reason I booked this holiday in the first place, Bastille. As we stayed at the Ibiza Rocks Apartments ticketed events at the main hotel were included in our stay so we could just stroll up the road whenever we felt like it really.

I've seen Bastille around 5 times now and I still can't get enough. It was the perfect opportunity to see them preform in such a small environment which I think are the best gigs you can go to. They never disappoint and I'm so incredibly happy that wanting to see them led me to having an amazing holiday with the girls.

Kimono - H&M // Swimsuit - River Island // Flatforms - Office

We booked quite a lot of our events before we went, meaning we got to make the most of our time there! Our first day was spent at Ocean Beach which was amazing, but very expensive. If you are thinking about going I would highly suggest paying for a bed. It is a lot of money but you do get the majority of that back to spend on food and drinks. I would recommend taking even more though because the cheapest bottle of Vodka is 275 euros, so you're going to need some extra spending money!

Dress - Pretty Little Thing (similar here) // Top - New Look // Hot Pants - Missguided // Flatforms - As Before

As the week went on we also attended My House by Martin Solveig at Pacha, Craig David's TS5 Pool Party and Radio 1 in Ibiza at Hi Ibiza! I am sorry for the lack of photos from these events, I was simply having too much of a good time!

Dress - New Look

So what was meant to be a 'you've got to do it once holiday' I think it's safe to say I will be returning next year!

Summer means Swimwear!

We may only have a couple of weeks left for this British summertime but the sun is always shining somewhere and let's face it, it's more often somewhere other than the UK!

I don't know about you guys but I feel like there is so much good swimwear out this year so I thought I'd share my top 5 favourites with you!

First up!

Stripe Heaven from Asos

£22
I'm not the only blogger lovin' this swimsuit and its not hard to see why! With a plunging neckline and crossover back it's flattering and bound to have you looking amazing on the beach! There's something so simple about this style but I think that's why it looks so great.

Missguided does Marble

£20
This is one of two Missguided swimwear pieces to feature on this post. I'm literally obsessed with what they have on offer right now. Marble is one of my favourite prints and I'm clearly not the only one as this is currently only available in a size 14. There is one little thing I'm not mad keen and that's the briefs. I'm not so much of a fan of having this much bum out personally but I don't have anything against anyone who is confident enough to pull this off!

Hello H&M

Top // £8.99 - Bottoms // £8.99
I feel like this is the least 'dressy' set but that can always be a good thing. When you're on holiday you want to wear something comfortable but still looks good. I always feel like bikini's are always good for that desired sun tan. The lace up detail makes it that little bit more girly alongside the coral colours. Perfect for lying around the pool in or going on adventures in the sea, just make sure the big waves don't steal your bottoms!

Missguided Strikes Again

£28
First things first, these eyelets are amazing! Being strapless means no strap marks! This beauty comes in a range of colours so if you're wanting something a little bit brighter than black, then Missguided have you covered. I think this style is so flattering and perfect for anyone who isn't too keen on showing their tum.

Red Hot in River Island

£28
Now I have saved the best til last! This is my favourite of all the ones I've chosen, so much so that it came to Ibiza with me last week! This is the costume that I chose to wear to Ocean Beach so it's kind of a big deal! I love everything about this one especially the tie at the front! Not the best for tan lines but who cares when it looks so good!

The colour is something completely different for me too but I love it! For me it shouts out summer and is definitely going to stand out!

So there you go! I'm currently sat recovering from the best week in Ibiza and wondering where I want to jet off to next. Stay tuned for my Ibiza post where I'll be filling you in with everything I got up to!
